Because the world is made for dreaming, with Linea Aaberg
Meet full-time dreamer Linea Maria Aaberg
We are very excited to introduce you to Linea Maria Aaberg.
Wondering & Wandering
Linea is living in Copenhagen, she loves travelling, meeting new people and discovering new cultures but the most important thing is that she loves to dream big and she does this often.
She feels at her best surrounded by flowers in nature, where she loves to daydream about life, plans and hopes.
Hi Linea, with so much going on in our lives right now, what brings happiness in your life right now?
Right now, my lovely friends and family are what brings happiness into my life. They always bring a big smile to my face and have my back. The sunny weather in Copenhagen these days also brings a lot of happiness to my life, and spending time in my country house in a cute little town called “Tisvilde” outside of Copenhagen.
What does a typical day in your week look like?
I wake up, drink a coffee on my balcony and then I bike through the streets of sunny Copenhagen to get to work. After work I usually meet up with some friends for dinner or wine.
How would you describe your personal style?
Definitely colorful! I love finding cute vintage items and then mixing it. I have a weakness for summer dresses and sandals, and I love to style every outfit differently with fun accessories.
If you could move anywhere in the world where would it be and why?
Australia! I used to live and work there, and I miss the country every day. The beautiful nature combined with the warm weather and sweet, beautiful people. I also have a very close friend, Mikaela, who lives there, and I would love to go back and have a lovely sunset dinner with her on the beach right this minute.
What is your favorite dish from around the world?
That is a though one! I think I might say Italian food. I had the pleasure of living with a lot of Italians during my stay in Lisbon this year, and I must say that I truly admire their endless passion and love for the food their cook, and everything just tastes like a piece of heaven.
Which songs are lately on your playlist?
Lately, I am in a mood of listing to a lot of slow and quiet songs. I recently just discovered “morning sun” with Melody Gardot, and it’s definitely the quote saying “this world was made for dreaming” that is my favorite part. It makes me think about my life, all my dreams and gives me a feeling of being grateful and taking each day as it comes.
What’s the most fearless thing you have ever done?
I just did a week’s road trip by myself, down the coast of Portugal. I wouldn’t say that it is the most fearless thing I have ever done, but I learned a lot about myself and I slept some very beautiful but desolated places, where I sometimes felt a little scared before falling asleep, but it was all worth it.
When you were younger what did you think you were going to be when you grow up?
An actress, I think! Just like any other 9-year-old girl I had a dream about being a superstar with fancy clothes. I really don’t have that dream any more - haha.
What do you daydream about?
Oh, I daydream about everything! Whether it is what I am having for dinner the same day, or what I am going to name my future kids. It is just as much the small things like, planning my day, what to wear and so on, as it is about the big things like where I want to start a family, which job will I have etc.
What is the most surprising item on your bucket list?
I would love to get at driving license for a motorcycle! I have this dream that one day I would love to drive through America with my sister, and discover all the different cities, meet great people and do a lot of beautiful camping under the stars.
What are you really passionate about and why?
I am passionate about a lot of things. I very easily and quickly create new passions for myself. But my main passion must be my own and my friends and family’s well being. I also feel very passionate about nature, travelling, food, flowers, interior design, fashion, dogs, music, and sports, just to mention a few.
Are you following your dreams, or have you given up on them?
There was a period of my life where I was not following my dreams and slowly doing what everyone else was doing. It took me some time to realise that I wasn’t happy with my life, and with a lot of self-courage and help from beautiful friends and family I feel like I am slowly back on track and following my dreams.
Do you consider yourself a full-time dreamer?
I most certainly do! And I am proud to be one.
